IceHogs Recall Goaltender Cale Morris from Indy Fuel
The Rockford IceHogs today announced that they have recalled goaltender Cale Morris from the Indy Fuel of the ECHL.
Morris, 25, is 4-5-2 over 12 appearances with the Fuel this season with a 2.79 goals-against average and .923 save percentage. Last season, the Larkspur, Colorado, native dressed in seven games with the IceHogs, going 2-3-0 with a 2.52 goals-against average and .923 save percentage. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound netminder is in his first full professional season after completing a four-year, award-winning college career at Notre Dame.
The Rockford IceHogs continue their three-game road trip tonight, Friday, Dec. 3 against the Grand Rapids Griffins at 6 p.m. CT at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, MI. The two clubs rematch and the IceHogs close their trip on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 6 p.m. CT in West Michigan.
