ICEHOGS RECALL FORWARD RADOVAN BONDRA FROM INDY FUEL
ROCKFORD, Ill. – The American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs today announced they have recalled forward Radovan Bondra from the ECHL’s Indy Fuel.
Bondra, 21, has skated in three ECHL games with the Fuel this season, tallying his first goal of the year on Oct. 30 vs. Idaho. The forward originally returned to action on Oct. 12 this season after being sidelined througuh the majority of the 2017-18 campaign with an upper-body injury.
The Trebisov, Slovakia native made his professional debut with the IceHogs near the conclusion of the 2016-17 season and has combined to skate in five AHL games with Rockford and 14 ECHL contests with Indy during his pro career. Prior to signing with Rockford, Bondra logged 93 points (47g, 46a) with 68 PIMs in 120 games in the Western Hockey League (WHL) from 2015-17.
Bondra was originally selected by the Chicago Blackhawks in the fifth round (151st overall) in the 2015 NHL Draft.
