ICEHOGS RECALL BOBBY SHEA FROM TOLEDO
Rockford, Ill.- The Rockford IceHogs have recalled defenseman Bobby Shea from the Toledo Walleye of the ECHL. Shea was with the IceHogs for training camp and was signed to an AHL contract for the 2013-14 season on Sept. 30.
The Harrison Township, Mich. native has played three games with the Toledo Walleye. He has one assist on the season and a +2 plus/minus rating.
The AHL rookie played four seasons at Bowling Green where he tallied 36 points (9g-27a). His career high in points for a season came in his senior year at Bowling Green when he had 20 points (4g-16a) and was selected to the CCHA All-Conference Second Team.
