Tickets are available for first two possible games
Rockford, Ill.- Tickets for the first two possible home Calder Cup Playoff games for the Rockford IceHogs go on sale Wednesday, beginning at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at the MetroCentre Box Office, www.metrocentre.com or by calling (815) 968-5222.
Rockford’s magic number to clinch a third straight Calder Cup Playoff spot in five points heading into Wednesday’s action in the American Hockey League. Rockford currently sits in third place in the AHL’s West Division and has an eight point lead over the Peoria Rivermen with two weeks remaining in the regular season.
Once the AHL releases the West Division Semifinals schedule, the remaining games for Rockford’s first round series will go on sale.

Next Home Game: Friday, April 2 vs. Lake Erie Monsters. The game starts at 7:05 p.m. The IceHogs open up their final home weekend of the 2009-10 regular season. The first 1,500 kids 14 and under will pick up an IceHogs Youth Hockey Stick courtesy of McDonalds and 97ZOK. Also, the first 1,500 fans to the game will receive a 2009-10 IceHogs Team Photo.
