Rockford, Ill.- The Rockford IceHogs, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced that tickets for the 2010 Calder Cup Playoffs will go on-sale on Wednesday, March 31 at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at the MetroCentre Box Office, on-line at www.metrocentre.com or by calling (815) 968-5222.
The first two possible home games will go on sale on Wednesday (Games A and B). The remaining Calder Cup Playoff tickets for the West Division Semifinals will go on sale once the series schedule is announced by the AHL.
Rockford’s magic number to clinch a third straight Calder Cup Playoff spot is nine points. The IceHogs currently sit in third place in the AHL’s West Division, 11 points ahead of the fifth place San Antonio Rampage and 12 points in front of the Peoria Rivermen. The top four teams in the West Division will qualify for the postseason.
Ticket prices for the upcoming Calder Cup Playoffs are $26, 21, 18, 15 and 11. Group tickets are also available for all groups of 15 or more and can be purchased over the phone by calling (815) 847-6399.
