IceHogs Outmanned by Admirals and Fall 5-3

Milwaukee, WI - The Rockford IceHogs fell 5-3 on Tuesday night inside Panther Arena against the Milwaukee Admirals.
The Admirals jumped out to a 1-0 lead with an even strength tally at 7:48 of the 1st period. Ryan Ufko fed Jake Lucchini in front of the Rockford net, who slid the puck through Drew Commesso.
Rockford responded while shorthanded three minutes later when Jamie Engelbert's rebound was collected in by Dominic Toninato. The forward beat Milwaukee's Matt Murray to tie the game 1-1.
Just 22 seconds after the Hogs equalized, the Admirals grabbed a 2-1 lead right back while still on the power play. Jordan Oesterle tapped in a cross ice feed at 11:04.
The IceHogs equalized five minutes into the middle period with a penalty shot goal from Rem Pitlick. The forward deked to his forehand and slid the puck past the pads to tie the game 2-2.
Reid Schaefer punched back for the Admirals at 11:32 of the 2nd period after Stanislav Berezhnoy replaced Commesso in the Rockford crease who left with an upper body injury.
Rockford pulled even once more while skating 4-on-4. Kevin Korchinski located Ethan Del Mastro outside the crease and the Hogs' defenseman deflected the puck for the 3-3 goal.
With 2:13 to play, Zach L'Heaureux deflected in another go-ahead goal for the Admirals just outside the crease. Reid Schaefer added in an empty-net marker for the 5-3 final.
