The Rockford IceHogs (7-8-1-0) host the Milwaukee Admirals (10-2-1-1) in their annual Military Appreciation Night, presented by the Air Force, this Friday at 7 p.m. at the BMO Harris Bank Center. The IceHogs will don special Military Jerseys for the contest and a select number of jerseys will be available via blind-silent auction and raffle, with proceeds benefitting the Veterans Drop-in Center.

Military Appreciation Night: The IceHogs will celebrate the men and women of our armed forces with several special tributes throughout the evening. All active and former military members receive a free ticket with valid ID, and can also take advantage of discounted ticket prices for friends and family at the BMO Box Office.
Specialty Jerseys: IceHogs skaters will wear specialty red camouflage jerseys for their matchup with the Admirals. A select number of the game-worn sweaters will be auctioned off at the game and two of the jerseys will be available for bidding online beginning Monday, Nov. 28, with proceeds benefitting the Veterans Drop-in Center in Rockford. Fans may also enter an in-game raffle throughout the game for a chance to win one of the specialty jerseys.
Veterans Drop-In Item Donation: The IceHogs will be collecting donations for the Rockford Veterans Drop-In Center duringt the game Friday. Suggested donations include paper products or microwavable food items, but gently-used clothing and non-perishable food items will also be accepted. All fans who donate will receive a free ticket voucher for the IceHogs following home game on Wednesday, Nov. 30 (against the Manitoba Moose).
Air Force Recruit Swear-In Ceremony: The Air Force will honor its class of new recruits with a special swear-in ceremony during the first intermission of Friday’s game. The Air Force recruits will also make an on-ice presentation of the American flag during the National Anthem.
