ICEHOGS LOOKING FOR A FEW GOOD FIRE & ICE GIRLS
Clinics is Aug. 14 and auditions are Aug. 16
ROCKFORD, Ill.- The Rockford IceHogs are looking for talented performers to join the Fire & Ice dance team, ice crew and promotion team. Organizers will host a pre-audition clinic and interview session at 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 14 and auditions at 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 16 at the Riverview Ice House. Interested candidates are encouraged to attend both events.
The Fire & Ice Girls appear at all 40 home games at the Rockford MetroCentre and serve as ambassadors for the Rockford IceHogs in the Rockford community.
Fire & Ice Girls must be women 18 years old or older by Oct. 1, 2008 and have a high school degree or equivalent. They must also be able to make a 10-month commitment to the team. Previous dancing or cheerleading experience is helpful, but not necessary. Skating experience is not necessary either, but candidates must be willing to learn.
