IceHogs Loan Goaltender Tom Aubrun to Indy Fuel

ROCKFORD, IL – The Rockford IceHogs, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League (NHL), announced today that they have loaned goaltender Tom Aubrun to the Indy Fuel of the ECHL.

Aubrun, 25, last skated with the Fuel on Mar. 9, making 31 saves against the Wheeling Nailers in a 6-0 setback. In four appearances with the Fuel this season, the Chamonix, France, native is 2-2-0 with a 4.43 goals-against average and .860 save percentage. He appeared in one contest with the IceHogs this season, making 17 saves in relief on Mar. 3 vs. Grand Rapids. In three appearances

The Rockford IceHogs head home to BMO Harris Bank Center to take on the Iowa Wild on Friday, March 19 and Saturday, March 20 at 6:00 p.m. During pregame warmups on Friday and Saturday, each Rockford IceHogs player will wear the name of a healthcare hero or frontline worker in the Rockford community on their jersey nameplate as a special tribute to Rockford-area healthcare heroes.
