ROCKFORD, Ill. – To celebrate the "month of love," the Rockford IceHogs are kicking off a campaign to invite fans to show their support for their hometown hockey team. Beginning during tomorrow’s game against the Chicago Wolves, the IceHogs are inviting fans to share on social media why they “love the Hogs” for a chance to win a team-signed stick.
Fans are encouraged to post pictures, videos and messages on their social accounts throughout the month of February. The IceHogs will also have paper hearts in the Box Office for fans to both fill out and take a picture with as part of the contest. In addition, fans can stop by the sign-making station in the Xfinity Tech Zone in the upper concourse during the Hogs’ seven home games in February to fill out a heart and enter the contest.
The IceHogs will select a winner at the conclusion of February. The winner of “Love the Hogs” will be presented with a hockey stick signed by IceHogs skaters.
For additional information, contact the IceHogs’ front office at (815) 847-6381.
