ICEHOGS KICK OFF SWING OF COMMUNITY EVENTS

Over the course of the upcoming week the Rockford IceHogs will host and appear at several events in the local community.

Monday, Feb. 8, 2016: Outdoor Practice in Belvidere

Location: Belvidere (Doty Park, 365 W. Locust St., Illinois 61008)

Time: 2-3 p.m.

Details: The Rockford IceHogs will hold a practice at the outdoor rink in Doty Park which will be open to the public. Afterwards, fans will have the opportunity to meet and get autographs from their favorite players.

Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016: Bacon Night at Mulligan’s


Location: Mulligan’s Pub and Grill (2212 N. Main St., Rockford, IL 61103)

Time: 6-7 p.m.

Details: Hammy Hog will be in attendance as Mulligan’s hosts Bacon Night. Fans can enter a drawing to win tickets to the IceHogs game versus the Grand Rapids Griffins on Feb. 14 and enjoy bacon-themed food and drink specials courtesy of Mulligan’s.

Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016: Open Skate at Riverview

Location: Riverview Ice House (324 N. Madison St., Rockford, IL 61107)

Time: 6-7 p.m.

Details: Tanner Kero, Ville Pokka, and Vince Hinostroza will participate in an open skate that is free to the public. Fans in attendance will be able to meet and take pictures with their favorite team members.

Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016: Visentin Reads to Kids

Location: KinderCare (6473 E. Riverside Blvd., Rockford, IL 61114)

Time: 6-7 p.m.

Details: IceHogs goaltender Mark Visentin will read to children at KinderCare.

Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016: Open Skate with Runts Club at the BMO

UPDATE: Due to a current power outage at the BMO Harris Bank Center. The open skate scheduled for Feb. 10 has been cancelled.

Location: BMO Harris Bank Center (300 Elm St., Rockford, IL 61101)

Time: 6-8 p.m.

Details: All members of the Runts Club are invited to come skate on the BMO Harris Bank Center ice with Jake Dowell, Kyle Baun, Kirill Gotovets, Nolan Valleau, Mike Liambas, and Pierre-Cedric Labrie. Games and activities will be setup on the ice for participants. Players will also be off the ice taking pictures and signing autographs. Members of the Runts Club will also have the chance to take a tour of the IceHogs locker room.
