ICEHOGS HOST WOLVES ON TACO TUESDAY

ROCKFORD, Ill. -- The Rockford IceHogs host the Chicago Wolves at the BMO Harris Bank Center Tuesday night for the fourth Illinois Lottery Cup showdown of 2017-18. The IceHogs are 2-1-0-0 against the Wolves this season.
Puck drop is at 7 p.m. and fans can tune in to all the action on Cozi TV 23.3 or Dish Network Channel 252, beginning with IceHogs Warmup at 6:30 p.m. IceHogs fans can also listen to the game at sportsfanradio1330.com or watch live at AHLlive.com (subscription required).
Tonight’s matchup is part of FasFuel Winning Weekdays—if the IceHogs win, fans can redeem tickets from the contest for a ticket of equal or lesser value to the upcoming Winning Weekdays game on Jan. 2.
Fans in attendance tonight can also take advantage of $2 tacos as part of Taco Tuesday, as well as $2 select beers thanks to The X Two-Buck Beer Night. Along with tacos, Pepsi beverages will be available for $2, and fans who purchase a full-price ticket in the Upper End Zone for any weekday game can also buy an additional companion ticket for just $2, while supplies last.
The $2 beers will be available in “The X Beer Garden” courtesy of 104.9 WXRX. “The X Beer Garden” is located in the Hog Heaven Party Deck above the Barnyard BBQ stand in the south end zone.
Matchup: The IceHogs (15-9-1-0, 2nd Central) enter tonight’s contest riding a four-game winning streak.
Defenseman Carl Dahlstrom tallied a goal and four assists in last week’s home-and-home sweep of the Grand Rapids Griffins, and has recorded 10 points in his last seven games. Forward Tomas Jurco owns the AHL’s longest active goal streak, having scored in each of his last four outings.
Jurco also leads the Hogs in scoring against the Wolves with 2g-2a-4pts in three games. Ville Pokka and Dahlstrom follow with three points apiece in the series with Chicago. Netminder Jeff Glass is unbeaten by the Wolves this season, posting a .917 save percentage and a 2.87 GAA in two games against the in-state rival.
Chicago (7-12-4-1, 7th Central) sits at the bottom of the Central Division, but has won two of its last three outings, most recently shutting out the Cleveland Monsters 3-0 last Saturday night.
Forward Teemu Pulkkinen leads the Wolves with eight goals and 14 assists through 24 games, followed by Brandon Pirri and Paul Thompson with 16 and 14 points, respectively.
