The Matchup:

Last Time Out: The last time the IceHogs and Moose faced off was last season on February 1st, 2026, at the Canada Life Centre in Manitoba. The Moose took a 2-0 lead in the second period before Rem Pitlick fed Nick Lardis for a goal to make the game 2-1 in favor of Manitoba. After a scoreless third, Manitoba held on for the win on their home ice.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW:

Rule of Threes: After beating the Toronto Marlies in back-to-back games last weekend, the IceHogs could put together an impactful three-game win streak. The IceHogs recorded only two stretches of three or more consecutive wins last season. One four-game win streak to open the season (10/11/25-10/18/25), and another four-game streak at the end of March (3/21/26-3/29/26).

Hayes Plays: Another good weekend for Gavin Hayes has put the IceHogs forward in the top 25 AHL point leaders, with 9 points so far. In Toronto, Hayes scored two goals and recorded two assists in two total games. Hayes is on pace for 64 points this season, which would demolish his 2025-26 total of 26.

Absolute Seney-Ma: Brett Seney still stands just one point away from tying, and two from passing, franchise leader Brandon Pirri (214) after being held scoreless in Toronto this weekend. With home games tonight against the Moose and Sunday evening versus the Texas Stars, the captain has a great chance to break the record in front of the Rockford faithful.
