Six-Game Prime Pack includes tickets for eight games for upcoming campaign
Rockford, Ill.- The Rockford IceHogs, proud members of the American Hockey League and primary affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Chicago Blackhawks, announced that the home opener for the 2010-11 season will be Saturday, October 9.
In addition, the IceHogs have announced five other home dates for their 12th season in Rockford and fourth in the AHL. These dates are Saturday, Oct. 23; Saturday, Nov. 6; Wednesday, Nov. 24; Sunday, Dec. 26 and Saturday, Jan. 22.
Purchase a Six-Game Prime Pack, featuring all six of the above listed games and get the giveaways guaranteed. Prices for the Six-Game Prime Packs are $60, $84, $102, and $120 and tickets to two other predetermined games.
A promotional schedule for these games has also been determined. On opening night, the first 5,000 fans will get a magnetic IceHogs schedule. On Saturday, Oct. 23, the first 2,500 fans will pick up an aluminum water bottle presented by Rock Valley Culligan.
The first 2,500 fans in attendance on Saturday, Nov. 6 will pick up an IceHogs baseball cap. Any member of a group that buys tickets for Wednesday, Nov. 24 or Sunday, December 26 will get a ticket to another predetermined game.
Saturday, Jan. 22 marks the return of the popular Pink in the RinkSM Night to benefit breast cancer awareness and research. The first 2,500 fans will get a pink t-shirt and the ice will be dyed pink for the game.
The IceHogs also announced on Wednesday that all weekday (Monday through Thursday) home games will start at 6:35 p.m.
An on-sale date for individual tickets will be announced at a later date. Group tickets, however, can be purchased now by calling the IceHogs office at (815) 847-6399. Group ticket prices are $8, $11, $14, and $17.
All game dates and promotions are subject to change. Seats based upon availability of seat location and certain restrictions may apply.
Opponents and start times for these games will become available when the complete 2010-11 American Hockey League schedule is released later this summer. In operation since 1936, the AHL will again serve as the top development league for all 30 National Hockey League teams while marking its 75th season in 2010-11.
