ICEHOGS HELP OPEN BLUE LINE WITH CELEBRITY BARTENDING
Rockford, Ill. – Blue Line Sports Pub is the site for the second and final celebrity bartending event of the 2015-16 season. Players from the Rockford IceHogs will be on hand on Wednesday night to help kickoff the newly-opened bar and neighbor to the BMO Harris Bank Center.
Forwards Chris DeSousa, Matt Fraser, Ryan Hartman and PC Labrie will be helping serve drinks at Blue Line from 6 - 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. The players will be on hand for an hour and a half to meet with their loyal fans, sign autographs, and take photos. Patrons must be 21 and over to enter the bar. Blue Line is located adjacent to the BMO Harris Bank Center Box Office at 211 Elm St. in downtown Rockford.
Numerous prize giveaways are planned for the night with all tips received by the players donated to the IceHogs Charitable Foundation. Through the Foundation, the club is able to give back to the Rockford community. Past beneficiaries have included the Boys and Girls Clubs of Rockford, Jr. IceHogs, MDA, Northern Illinois Hospice, among many others. Players attending the event are subject to change.
Next Home Game: Saturday, Mar. 19 vs. Chicago Wolves at 7 p.m. The IceHogs conclude a home-and-home series with the Wolves at the BMO Harris Bank Center on Country Night presented by Dusty Boots Saloon. The band South 40 will be playing country music throughout the night.
