Fans can win Blackhawks tickets at event

Rockford, Ill.- With spring in the air, it’s time for the Rockford IceHogs to clear out items from the 2013-14 season. The IceHogs will be hosting a garage sale and pick-a-seat event on Saturday, May 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the BMO Harris Bank Center.

Fans can enter the BMO Harris Bank Center through the entrance on the corner of Church St. and Chestnut St. The garage sale will take place on the concourse outside of Oink Outfitters and all fans in attendance can sign up to win a pair of Chicago Blackhawks tickets for a game during the 2014-15 regular season.

Items for sale include IceHogs game worn jerseys, practice jerseys, game-used equipment, marked down IceHogs merchandise and more. Concessions will be available including hot dogs, hamburgers, soft drinks and beer.

In the arena, fans can check out some of the best available seats open for season ticket purchase for the upcoming 2014-15 season with the pick-a-seat event. Season ticket plans range from seven-game packages all the way up to full season tickets.

For every 10-game flex plan or greater purchased on Saturday, fans will receive a free Opening Night ticket for Rockford’s home opener on Saturday, Oct. 11.
