IceHogs First Preseason Game Cut Short
Rockford, IL - The Rockford IceHogs and Chicago Wolves had their first preseason game of the 2025-26 season suspended with 12:53 remaining in the 2nd period. Neither team had found the back of the net before an area-wide power outage stopped the game short.
IceHogs goaltender Drew Commesso made 14 stops through the first period and a half, while Chicago's Nikita Quapp made nine saves.
The IceHogs will conclude the preseason slate with a 7:00 p.m. puck drop on Friday, October 3 against the Milwaukee Admirals at Panther Arena.
