IceHogs Drop Weekend Finale to Admirals 4-1 Inside the BMO

Rockford, IL - The Rockford IceHogs fell ice 4-1 to the Milwaukee Admirals on Sunday afternoon inside the BMO Center.
The Admirals struck at 8:33 of the 1st period to take an early lead with a wrist shot from David Edstrom in the slot that got under the glove of Drew Commesso.
Milwaukee doubled its lead on the power play in the first minute of the 2nd period. Reid Schaefer scored his second goal of the weekend with a wraparound from the near post.
The Ads took a 3-0 lead minutes later when Zach L'Heureux's goal was allowed to stand, despite Commesso's mask coming off.
With two minutes to go in the middle period, Milwaukee defenseman Jack Matier snapped in his first goal of the season to extend the lead to 4-0.
Halfway through the 3rd period, Jake Furlong snapped home his first goal as an IceHogs to get Rockford on the board.
