IceHogs Drop Matinee in Winnipeg, 4-1 to Moose

Winnipeg, MB - The Rockford IceHogs fell 4-1 on Sunday afternoon against the Manitoba Moose inside the Canada Life Centre.
For the second straight afternoon, Brett Seney opened the scoring in the first 30 seconds of the game. The IceHogs captained gathered in a rebound from Samuel Savoie's shot and slammed it past Manitoba's Domenic Divincentiis.
The Moose pulled even 1-1 at 14:49 of the 1st period with Samuel Fagemo scoring his second of the weekend.
In the 2nd period, Manitoba grabbed its first lead of the weekend when David Gustafsson located a rebound and jammed it past Drew Commesso.
Manitoba doubled its lead at 10:03 of the 2nd. Tyrel Bauer made it 3-1 Moose deflecting in an Isaak Phillips back door pass.
The IceHogs pushed in the 3rd and earned multiple power plays, but couldn't solve Divincentiis and the Moose defense. Jaret Anderson-Dolan added on a 4-1 empty net goal to put the game on ice.
The IceHogs return to the BMO Center on Saturday, December 27 at 7:00 p.m. to take on the Texas Stars. The first 1,500 fans 14 and under will receive a youth jersey giveaway presented by Westside Children's Therapy. Tickets are available at icehogs.com.
