ICEHOGS CELEBRATE 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF COLONIAL CUP VICTORY
Rockford, Ill. – The Rockford IceHogs captured the Colonial Cup in their final season as a member of the United Hockey League (UHL) in 2006-07, securing the title with a thrilling Game 7 victory over the Kalamazoo Wings at the BMO Harris Bank Center on May 24, 2007. Over the next two weeks, fans can look back at the memorable run to the championship.
Highlighting the series of features, the IceHogs television partner, Channel 23 – WIFR, will air Game 7 against Kalamazoo on Wednesday, May 24. The contest will be shown on WIFR’s Justice Network on 23.3 starting at 7 p.m. For a full listing of channels, click here.
The IceHogs will also be providing special “coverage” of the playoff run on IceHogs.com and through the team’s social media channels. The list of features includes interviews with former players, recaps of each of the games in the finals against Kalamazoo and photos from the 2007 Colonial Cup Playoffs.
