IceHogs, Blackhawks Announce Transactions
The Chicago Blackhawks today announced that the team has recalled defenseman Ethan Del Mastro from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League. The IceHogs have signed defenseman Brayden Hislop to a PTO from the Jacksonville Icemen in the ECHL.
Del Mastro, 23, has skated in two games with the Blackhawks this season. He’s also played in 45 AHL games with the IceHogs during the 2025-26 campaign, posting 18 points (2G, 16A). His 16 assists and 18 points rank second among club defensemen, while his two goals share second.
Hislop, 22, has appeared in 36 games this year with the Icemen, recording 11 points (3G, 8A). A native of St. Clements, ON Hislop is in his second professional season with Jacksonville. The defenseman played four seasons in the AHL between Saginaw, North Bay and Guelph.
