IceHogs Battle for 3-1 Win Amidst Mayhem in Milwaukee

Milwaukee, WI - The Rockford IceHogs head to the All-Star break with a 3-1 victory over the Milwaukee Admirals on Saturday night inside Panther Arena.
It was an action packed first period which included five fights. In the opening minute, Connor Mylmok took down Andreas Englund, while Jamie Engelbert brought Oasiz Weisblatt to the ice.
Taige Harding enjected more energy to the opening frame, landing a massive open-ice hit and then dropping the gloves against Milwaukee's Jack Matier. The Ads took a 1-0 lead at 14:07 with a breakaway goal from Zach L'Heureux.
Rockford responded with two quick strikes in the span of 26 seconds. First it was Gavin Hayes who sent home a cross-crease pass from Brett Seney. Moments later, Harrison Israels fed Kevin Lombardi in front of the night and the forward batted the puck out of mid-air for a 2-1 IceHogs' lead.
At 10:19 of the 2nd period, Nick Lardis released a perfect wrist shot from the slot for his 15th of the year and gave the IceHogs a 3-1 advantage.
Drew Commesso and the Rockford defense shut the door in the 3rd period with the Hogs goaltender finishing with 27 saves.
