ICEHOGS ANNOUNCE �WIN ON WEDNESDAY� PROMOTION

Prize drawings, cowbell giveaway, block party and more on tap for Game 3

Rockford, Ill. - With the Calder Cup Playoffs set to return to the Forest City for the first time since 2010, the American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs are announcing a host of exciting promotions for Wednesday’s Game 3 against the Texas Stars.

With the brand-new “Win On Wednesday” promotion, fans in attendance for Game 3 can enter a drawing to win great prizes including:

-A RAVE Pass good for four (4) tickets to any concert or event at the BMO Harris Bank Center and the Coronado Performing Arts Center, in addition to an IceHogs game before May 31, 2016

-5 Playoff Ticket Packs which include a pair of tickets to each IceHogs home playoff game this spring

-3 $100 Piggy Bank gift cards good for use at the BMO Harris Bank Center

-1 Voucher for suite tickets for any IceHogs home game in October to December next season (excluding opening night)

More info on “Win On Wednesday” will be revealed as the opening round series against the Stars progresses.

Western Conference Quarterfinals, Game 3: Texas Stars vs. Rockford IceHogs

Time: 7 p.m. at BMO Harris Bank Center

Tickets: Fans can reserve their seats for the 2015 Calder Cup Playoffs by stopping by the BMO Harris Bank Center Box Office, calling (815) 968-5222 or online through Ticketmaster. Individual game tickets for the first round start as low at $17.

Season ticket holders receive the first two games, labeled “Game A” and “Game B,” of the first round of the Calder Cup Playoffs free of charge as it’s included with their ticket package. The two complimentary tickets can be used for the first round only.

Cowbell Giveaway: The first 1,500 fans through the gates on Wednesday will receive a free cowbell courtesy of BMO Harris Bank.

Pre-Game Block Party: The IceHogs will be hosting a Pre-Game Block Party outside the BMO for each and every home playoff game, presented by Swedish American Hospitals. Starting at 4 p.m., fans can come out and enjoy food and drink, inflatables and live music before the IceHogs take the ice. The Block Party takes place on portions of Elm and Main Streets outside of the BMO Harris Bank Center box office.

Smash The Stars: Prior to Game 3 IceHogs fans can help defenseman Zach Miskovic dispose of his old car while helping the community in the process. Five dollars will get participants three swings of a sledgehammer against Miskovic’s car, which will be decorated in Texas colors. All proceeds will be donated to local tornado relief efforts.

Broadcast Information: Each and every IceHogs game during the Calder Cup Playoffs will be broadcasted live on 23.2 Antenna TV or online with AHL Live (ahllive.com). The coverage will begin 30 minutes prior to puck drop with the IceHogs Warm Up Show.
