ICEHOGS ANNOUNCE SEVEN HOME DATES FOR 2014-15

Hogs to open home slate on Oct. 11

Rockford, Ill.- The Rockford IceHogs, in conjunction with the American Hockey League, announced seven home dates for the upcoming 2014-15 regular season.

The IceHogs are slated to open the home portion of the 2014-15 regular season on Saturday, Oct. 11 at the BMO Harris Bank Center. Rockford embarks on their 16th season of professional hockey in the Forest City, including eighth as the AHL affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks.

During the month of November, the IceHogs will be recognizing Men’s Health Awareness, culminating with Men’s Health Night on Friday, Nov. 28. The IceHogs will don special jerseys and the event surrounds the “Brovember” initiative that will raise funds for Healing Pathways Cancer Resource Center.

One of the most popular games is back for 2014-15 as the IceHogs will host “Pink In The Rink” on Saturday, Jan. 24. The IceHogs have helped raise over $70,000 in five previous “Pink In The Rink” events at the BMO Harris Bank Center for breast cancer research.
