Rockford IceHogs to Host 2026 AHL All-Star Classic

ICEHOGS ANNOUNCE NEW MARKETING CAMPAIGN, LAUNCH NEW WEBSITE
“It All Starts Here” in 2012-13 with a fresh icehogs.com
Rockford, Ill.- RAVE Executive Director Gordon Kaye announced on Thursday that the marketing campaign for the 2012-13 season for the American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs is “It All Starts Here”. In addition, the IceHogs also unveiled their new website at icehogs.com.
“Our loyal fans in Rockford have the opportunity to watch some of the top prospects in all of professional hockey play right here in the Forest City and begin their journey to the Chicago Blackhawks,” said Kaye. “This campaign encompasses that, along with the passion and excitement that our fans bring to the BMO Harris Bank Center every game.”
The “All Starts Here” campaign has been intertwined with the IceHogs new website and will be incorporated in videos, commercials and some giveaway items during the 2012-13 season, including the calendar giveaway for the first 5,000 fans on Opening Night against the Charlotte Checkers on Saturday, Oct. 20 courtesy of BMO Harris Bank.
Rockford’s new website contains more content and easier navigation. To go along with an updated news rotator on the home page, the site shows a new feature section, updated game center and quick links to the IceHogs social media outlets, Flickr photo gallery, IceHogs YouTube channel and blog.
Other new features on the home page include a real time look at what’s happening on the IceHogs’ Facebook and Twitter pages, fresh location for “Hogs TV” and a link to the team’s game notes page. With the game notes page, fans can access the press box content provided to teams, scouts and broadcasters on game nights.
Fans will still be able to access team stats, standings and Hogs highlights on the home page.
The 2012-13 season marks the 14th season of professional hockey in Rockford and sixth as the AHL affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks.
The regular season begins on Saturday, Oct. 13 at the Allstate Arena against the arch rival Chicago Wolves. Rockford will also host one preseason game against the Milwaukee Admirals on Thursday, Oct. 4 at the BMO Harris Bank Center at 7:05 p.m.
