ICEHOGS ANNOUNCE 2014 TRAINING CAMP SCHEDULE
Rockford’s 16th season to kick off on Sept. 28
Rockford, Ill.- Chicago Blackhawks General Manager of Minor League Affiliations Mark Bernard announced the 2014 training camp schedule for the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League. The IceHogs 16th overall season of professional hockey in Rockford, and eighth in the AHL as the top affiliate of the Blackhawks, gets underway on Sunday, Sept. 28 at the BMO Harris Bank Center.
Rockford’s training camp, in preparation for the season opener on Saturday, Oct. 11 against the Milwaukee Admirals, will conclude on Oct. 10. All IceHogs training camp practices will take place at the BMO Harris Center and will not be open to the public.
The IceHogs training camp slate also features two preseason contests. Rockford will take on the Chicago Wolves on Thursday, Oct. 2 at the BMO Harris Bank Center at 7 p.m. and will travel to Milwaukee on Friday, Oct. 3 to take on the Admirals at the Kern Center at 7 p.m.
