ICEHOGS ANNOUNCE 2011 TRAINING CAMP SCHEDULE
Rockford’s 13th season to kick off on Sept. 25
Rockford, Ill.- Chicago Blackhawks General Manager of Minor League Affiliations Mark Bernard has announced the 2011 training camp schedule for the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League. The IceHogs 13th overall season of professional hockey in Rockford, and fifth in the AHL as the top affiliate of the Blackhawks, gets underway on Sunday, Sept. 25 at the BMO Harris Bank Center.
Rockford’s training camp in preparation for the season opener on Saturday, Oct. 8 against the Grand Rapids Griffins will conclude on Oct. 7. All IceHogs training camp practices will take place at the BMO Harris Bank Center and will not be open to the public.
The IceHogs training camp slate also features three preseason contests. Rockford will take on the Chicago Wolves on Wednesday, Sept. 28 at the BMO Harris Bank Center; the Milwaukee Admirals on Friday, Sept. 30 at the Kearn Center in Milwaukee; and the Peoria Rivermen on Saturday, Oct. 1 at the BMO Harris Bank Center.
