ICEHOGS AND ADMIRALS MEET FOR THE FIRST TIME
Hogs have 12-game unbeaten streak on the line
Rockford, Ill.- The Rockford IceHogs return home tonight to face-off against the Milwaukee Admirals for the first time ever. Game time tonight is set for 7:05 p.m. at the Rockford MetroCentre and the first 1,000 fans to the game will receive an IceHogs Santa Hat from the Rockford Park District.
Tonight’s game is the first of 10 on the season between the Hogs and Ads, including five in Rockford and five at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee. Entering tonight’s tilt, the IceHogs have played an AHL low 10 home games.
In transaction news, the IceHogs re-called defenseman Steve Marr from the club’s ECHL affiliate Pensacola Ice Pilots this morning. The first-place IceHogs have a franchise record tying 12-game unbeaten streak on the line tonight as well.
