Week 10 Recap:
For the first time this season, the Rockford IceHogs earned points in three straight contests in Week 10. Rockford opened the weekend with an Illinois Lottery Cup win over the Chicago Wolves at the BMO Harris Bank Center on Friday. The IceHogs outlasted the Grand Rapids Griffins to earn a shootout victory Saturday before traveling to Milwaukee to take on the Admirals for the first time this season on Sunday. But in their second shootout in as many nights, Rockford was unable to top Milwaukee.

Jimmy Hayes Right Wing
Rookie winger Jimmy Hayes had points in all three games with a plus/minus rating of +4 for the IceHogs in Week 10. Hayes chipped in assists in both of Rockford’s home wins on Friday and Saturday and then added his second career multi-point game on Sunday in Milwaukee assisting on the IceHogs first two goals. Overall this season, Hayes has 4g-13a-17pts in 23 games, fourth best on the IceHogs, and is riding a career-high four-game point streak.

Wednesday, Dec. 14 at Grand Rapids: The IceHogs travel to Grand Rapids for their final matchup of the season with the Griffins. Game time is 6 p.m. Rockford owns a 3-0-0-0 record against Grand Rapids this season.
Friday, Dec. 16 vs. Peoria: The IceHogs return to Rockford to take on the Peoria Rivermen in another Illinois Lottery Cup matchup. Puck drops at 7:05 p.m. for the eighth of 12 meetings between the division rivals. Fans who have collected their IceHogs pint glasses from Applebee’s can complete the set Friday, as the first 1,500 fans age 21 and older will receive a voucher redeemable for an IceHogs pitcher at either local Applebee’s location. Saturday, Dec. 17 vs. Milwaukee: Less than a week after facing the Milwaukee Admirals for the first time this season, Rockford hosts their Midwest Division rivals at 7:05 p.m. It’s also the first bobblehead giveaway of the season, with the first 2,500 fans receiving a collector’s edition Rob Klinkhammer bobblehead thanks to U.S. Cellular.
Bud Light Hog Talk Rolls On At Granite City:
Bud Light Hog Talk makes its weekly appearance tonight at Granite City Food and Brewery from 6-7 p.m. Granite City is located at 7140 Harrison Ave. next to CherryVale Mall. Fans can join Stephen Nelson from 6-7 p.m. tonight as he chats with IceHogs forward Brandon Bollig, defenseman Joe Lavin and Head Coach Ted Dent. Take advantage of food and Bud Light specials. If you can't make it to Granite City, tune into 1330 AM WNTA.
