HOT HOGS CONTINUE PLAYOFF PUSH IN MILWAUKEE

Preview 3 2 8
MILWAUKEE, Wisc. – The Rockford IceHogs continue their playoff push with a divisional showdown at UW–Milwaukee Panther Arena against the Milwaukee Admirals.
Puck drop is at 7 p.m. and fans can tune in to all the action on Cozi TV 23.3 or Dish Network Channel 252, beginning with IceHogs Warmup at 6:30 p.m. IceHogs fans can also listen to the game at sportsfanradio1330.com or watch live at AHLlive.com (subscription required).
Matchup: The IceHogs (28-23-3-3, 5th Central) have won three of the last four games following a 2-1 victory over the Texas Stars at the BMO Harris Bank Center on Wednesday. Rockford enters tonight’s game with a two-game win streak and having notched each of its two wins in the series with the Admirals on the road at UW–Milwaukee Panther Arena arena this season.
Chris DiDomenico tallied a pair of assists against the Stars Wednesday to give the recently-acquired forward multi-point efforts in each of his first three appearances with the IceHogs. He leads the team in scoring since making his team debut on Feb. 23 and is the lone skater in the AHL with six points in that time.
Anthony Louis tallied his team-leading 33rd point in the IceHogs’ win over Texas and has now found the scoresheet in nine of his last 15 games. Louis also leads Rockford with his 23 helpers on the year and takes the ice tonight with assists in four of five games against Milwaukee in 2017-18.
Milwaukee (26-24-4-1, 6th Central) hosts the IceHogs in the midst of a three-game skid following a defeat by the Manitoba Moose and back-to-back losses to the Texas Stars. The Admirals are led in scoring by forwards Bobby Butler and Emil Pettersson, who have each scored a team-high 34 points thus far this year. However, despite the duo’s team-leading totals, Butler and Pettersson have combined for just one point over their last five contests.
In net, Anders Lindback has combined for a 22-16-4 record with a 2.98 GAA and .905 save percentage. The goaltender has lost each of his last three games and has a 1-4-1 mark over his last six appearances since Feb. 14.
