Rockford, Ill.- Fans of the Rockford IceHogs now have a place to watch the rest of the regular season and all 2010 Calder Cup playoff road games. The American Hockey League club announced on Tuesday that Hooters is the official road game viewing sponsor for the IceHogs during their playoff run.
Hooters is located at 6904 Argus Drive in Rockford, near the intersection of East State Street and Perryville Road. Starting with tonight’s action, fans can watch the IceHogs live at Hooters. All the remaining regular season and postseason road games will be shown at Hooters, including Friday’s contest at Texas at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday at 7 p.m. in San Antonio.
Hooters will also offer food and drink specials for all fans wearing IceHogs apparel. Also, fans can submit questions for the IceHogs coaching staff. Some will be used at the final Hog Talk on Monday, April 12 at Hooters from 6-7 p.m. The show will feature IceHogs head coach Bill Peters, assistant coach Ted Dent and general manager Mark Bernard.
