HOGS TO HOST WOLVES IN PRESEASON CONTEST
Rockford adds third exhibition game
Rockford, Ill.- Chicago Blackhawks General Manager of Minor League Affiliations Mark Bernard announced on Tuesday that the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League will play an exhibition game against the Chicago Wolves on Wednesday, Sept. 23 at Carlson Ice Arena in Loves Park.
The contest will begin at 7:05 p.m. and tickets for the game are $5. Tickets will be available for purchase beginning at noon on Sept. 23 at Carlson Ice Arena. The IceHogs will donate all proceeds from the game to the Junior IceHogs hockey program and to the Benefit for Sydney Ives. For information on Honorary IceHog Sydney Ives visit www.ivestrong.com.
Rockford’s preseason game against Chicago pushes the exhibition slate to three for the fast approaching 2009 Training Camp. The IceHogs will also take on the Peoria Rivermen in a pair of exhibition games including in Peoria on Friday, Sept. 25 and at the Rockford MetroCentre on Saturday, Sept. 26.
