HOGS TO HOST AN EVENING WITH THE BLACKHAWKS
John McDonough, Dale Tallon and other Hawks officials to be on hand
Rockford, Ill.- The Rockford IceHogs, proud members of the American Hockey League, are inviting their fans to an “Evening With The Blackhawks.” The event will take place on Thursday, March 20 at the Clock Tower Resort in Rockford from 6 - 8 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public. Chicago Blackhawks officials that are expected to attend include Team President John McDonough, General Manager Dale Tallon, Assistant General Manager of Hockey Operations Stan Bowman, IceHogs General Manager of Hockey Operations Al MacIsaac and IceHogs Head Coach Mike Haviland. The staff will all be on hand to discuss the present and future of the Blackhawks and the IceHogs.
Some of the topics that will be discussed include the changes made within the Blackhawks organization over the past five months, what’s on tap for the 2008-09 season and info on upcoming Blackhawks games and events. Time permitting, fans will have an opportunity to ask questions in an open forum with the Blackhawks brass.
Rockford is currently skating in its first season in the AHL and as the top affiliate of the Blackhawks. During the 2007-08 campaign, 17 different IceHogs skaters have been recalled to Chicago.
A Blackhawks player, not yet determined, and Tommy Hawk are also expected to be in attendance. All appearances are subject to change without notice.
