Matchup: The IceHogs (21-15-2-2, 3rd Central) have notched points in a season-high five straight games and are 3-0-1-1 since Jan. 6.
Forward Tyler Sikura scored a goal for the fifth consecutive contest on Saturday at Bakersfield and is currently tied for the longest goal streak in IceHogs franchise history. The rookie winger, who has totaled eight goals over his last 10 games, can become the first Rockford skater to score goals in six straight contests if he lights the lamp tonight against the Monsters.
Netminder Collin Delia takes the ice Wednesday having won each of his last three starts. The goaltender boasts a 2.27 GAA and .924 save percentage in that stretch and is second in the league in wins behind only Syracuse’s Connor Ingram.
Cleveland (11-19-3-3, 7th Central Division) enters tonight’s tilt with just two wins over its last 10 games. The Monsters have split the first four contests of the season series with the IceHogs, with the Broadhurst brothers combining for nine points and a +5 rating against Rockford. Alex Broadhurst has notched two goals, four assists and a +2 rating in four matchups in the series, while Terry ranks second on the team with three points (2g, 1a) and a +3 plus/minus in three appearances against the Hogs.
