Rockford, Ill.- Members of the Rockford IceHogs and Rockford MetroCentre front office staff will be lending a hand at Habitat for Humanity on Thursday afternoon.
For the second straight summer, the organization will be contributing to Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit organization that builds affordable housing in partnership with people in need.
The Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity will be working on seven houses near the intersection of Auburn Street and Central Avenue in Rockford this summer. For more information on how to volunteer, call (815) 636-4573.
On Saturday, Hammy will be at the General Mills' Family Appreciation Fair from 3-5 p.m. at the Boone County Fairgrounds. The IceHogs mascot will be meeting fans and signing autographs.
