Two more contests on Week 4 slate
Week 3 Recap
For the second time in 2010-11 the Rockford IceHogs faced a two-game weekend on home ice and for the second time the club split the two contests. A two-goal third period deficit was erased on Saturday against the Wolves to give Rockford their lone win in Week 3 and now the team turns their attention to Week 4 and two more West Division clashes.

Hot Hog Week 3:
Rockford’s second year defenseman, Brian Connelly, was in the middle of Rockford’s come from behind overtime victory over the Chicago Wolves on Saturday night, assisting on all three of Rockford’s goals down the stretch, including Igor Makarov’s overtime game winner. The three assist game was the first of Connelly’s career and the blueliner now leads Rockford with seven points on the season, all assists.

Wednesday, Oct. 27 vs. Texas Stars: Puck drop is at 6:35 p.m. Wednesdays are Dollar Days at the MetroCentre and this Wednesday’s is the first of 2010-11. Fans can enjoy one dollar beers, hot dogs, soft drinks and one dollar companion tickets courtesy of Taco Bell and WXRX.
Saturday, Oct. 30 at Chicago Wolves: Game time is 7 p.m. The IceHogs hit the road to face-off against the Chicago Wolves at the Allstate Arena for the first time this season. The game is the second of 10 overall in 2010-11 between the West Division rivals and first of five at the Allstate Arena.

Bud Light Hog Talk Is Back Tonight At Swilligan’s Pub:
Bud Light Hog Talk returns to Swilligan’s Pub tonight. Swillgan’s Pub is located in downtown Rockford at 200 North Church St. Fans can join Mike Peck from 6-7 p.m. most Mondays as he chats with IceHogs players, coaches and front office members. This week’s guests include IceHogs wingers Evan Brophey and Jeremy Morin along with Chicago Blackhawks General Manager of Minor League Affiliations Mark Bernard.
