ROCKFORD, Ill. -- The Rockford IceHogs welcome the Cleveland Monsters to the BMO Harris Bank Center for the second time this week as the teams face off on Saturday night. Cleveland earned a 4-1 win over Rockford earlier this week on Tuesday to take a 2-1-0-0 lead in the series.

Matchup: The IceHogs (18-15-1-1, 5th Central) have now dropped four straight games following last night’s 5-3 defeat in Grand Rapids.

Forward Matthew Highmore scored his team-leading 15th goal of the season last night, and is now tied with Tomas Jurco for the team lead in points with 23 apiece. Jurco has been prolific in contests against Cleveland, potting three goals and two assists for a team-high five points in three outings. Defenseman Carl Dahlstrom leads the Rockford blueliners with 18 points, while his defensive counterpart and AHL All-Star, Erik Gustafsson, has four assists in his last five games.

Cleveland (10-16-3-2, 7th Central) enters tonight’s tilt having won just once in their last six contests, but their lone win was against the IceHogs on Tuesday.

Forward Carter Camper paces the Monsters with 7g-14a-21pts, but has been held without a point in three meetings with Rockford. Forwards Alex & Terry Broadhurst and Paul Bittner each found the back of the net in Tuesday’s tilt, and now have two goals apiece against the IceHogs this season.
