Week 16 Recap
Week 16 didn’t provide the come-from-behind and late-game heroics that Week 15 did. Like Week 15, however, the IceHogs won all three of its games to remain in first place in the West Division. Corey Crawford continued his impressive play in goal for Rockford and the IceHogs return home for three home games during Week 17.

Hot Hog Week 16:
Rockford’s goalie Corey Crawford backstopped the IceHogs to three more wins during Week 16 of the 2007-08 season. Crawford began the week by making 34 saves and helping the Hogs hold Manchester’s league leading power play to 0-for-7. Crawford then turned away 33 shots in Friday’s 4-2 win at Iowa and 34 Stars attempts in another 4-2 IceHogs victory on Saturday in Des Moines.
Upcoming Games:
Wednesday, Jan. 23 vs. Peoria Rivermen. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. Rockford returns home to begin a three game homestand. The Rivermen make their first ever visit to the Rockford MetroCentre to take on the Hogs. The game is presented by Jose Cuervo and is the fourth of eight on the campaign between the West Division foes.
Friday, Jan. 25 vs. Chicago Wolves. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. A showdown between the top two teams in the West Division. The IceHogs and Wolves clash for a fifth time this season and second at the MetroCentre. The IceHogs along with Camelot World Travel welcome Jason Earles from the hit Disney show Hannah Montana to the game.
Saturday, Jan. 26 vs. Iowa Stars. The game starts at 7:05 p.m. The close out a three-game West Division homestand against the Stars. Iowa makes its first stop in Rockford on the season. The first 1,000 fans to the game will pick-up an IceHogs baseball hat courtesy of Wireless One, WXRX FM, 104.9 and 23WIFR.
