ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Rockford IceHogs return to the BMO Harris Bank Center for a pair of weekend matchups, beginning with an Illinois Lottery Cup game on Friday against the Chicago Wolves.

Matchup: The IceHogs (15-1-1-19-1-0, 2nd Central) were swept on their three-game road trip last week (0-2-0-1), but now return to their home ice where they have posted a 10-6-1-0 clip thus far in 2017-18.
Forward Andreas Martinsen has scored goals in in five of his last seven games and combined for 5g-1a-6pts over those seven contests. He leads the team and is tied for seventh in the AHL in goals over that span, dating to Dec. 1.
Blueliner Carl Dahlstrom is also in the midst of a productive month of December, combining for 1g-8a-9pts over the last five games for Rockford. Dahlstrom currently leads the team with an impressive +10 rating over five games this month.
Chicago (12-12-4-1, 5th Central) has won six straight games to move into fifth place in the Central Division. The Wolves boast a two-point edge in the Illinois Lottery Cup series entering tonight, posting a 2-0-1-1 record against the IceHogs.
Defenseman Jason Garrison and forward T.J. Tynan pace all Wolves skaters with eight points apiece during the team’s current six-game winning streak. Garrison has collected two goals and six assists over that stretch, while Tynan has amassed four goals and four assists in that span.
Next Home Game: The Rockford IceHogs cap a two-game weekend set with a 6 p.m. showdown with the reigning Calder Cup champion Grand Rapids Griffins. The first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive a free IceHogs bomber hat, courtesy of Pepsi.
