HOGS JOIN LOU BACHRODT IN FUNDRAISER FOR OPERATION HOMEFRONT

Rockford, Ill.- With the 2012-13 regular season fast approaching, the Rockford IceHogs, Lou Bachrodt Auto Mall and Cumulus Broadcasting are hosting a fundraiser to benefit Operation Homefront on Saturday, Sept. 8.

Fans can join IceHogs forward Wade Brookbank, team ambassador Oak Hewer, Hammy, along with members from the IceHogs coaching staff from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lou Bachrodt Auto Mall, located at 7070 Cherryvale North Boulevard by the CherryVale Mall.

All team personnel will be on hand to meet with fans, sign autographs and take pictures. The Rockford Park District will have street hockey equipment setup for kids to show off their skills. The IceHogs will also have hockey gear available for kids to try on and test out what the pros wear.

Fans will have a chance to purchase tickets to the IceHogs home opener on Saturday, Oct. 20 at the BMO Harris Bank Center for $15, with $5 from every ticket sold being donated to the charity.
