
HOGS HOST THREE AT HOME THIS WEEK

Bacon Bits:
-The IceHogs are seventh in the Central Division with a 7-10-1-1 record
-Tyler Barnes, Chris DeSousa and Viktor Svedberg each notched their first goal of the season this past week
-Barnes is currently on a three-game point streak (3G, 1A) since his recall from the Indy Fuel on Nov. 22
-He tallied his first assist as a member of the Hogs in Wednesday’s contest against Cleveland, before scoring his first two goals in an IceHogs sweater on Friday, and adding another on Saturday in Chicago
-Svedberg has also added a goal and two assists in the past three games
-DeSousa has recorded four points (2G, 2A) in the past three games
-The Hogs dropped to 1-2-0-0 in this season’s Illinois Lottery Cup series after their 3-2 loss on Saturday
-Lars Johansson continues to top the AHL with time on-ice for goaltenders with 856:44 minutes
-Johansson also ranks fourth in the league with 392 saves
-Spencer Abbott leads the team with five goals and 12 points, and Mark McNeill leads Rockford with nine helpers
-Rockford will return to the BMO Harris Bank Center on Wednesday for four straight home games against Manitoba, Chicago, Grand Rapids and San Antonio

Wednesday, November 30 vs. Manitoba Moose: Game time is 7 p.m. The IceHogs (7-10-1-1) host the Moose (9-7-1-1) for the first of eight season meetings between the two teams. Wednesday is also the second of 10 Winning Weekday games, presented by Fas Fuel, where after every IceHogs weekday home win, all fans in attendance can redeem their game ticket for a FREE ticket of equal or lesser value to the next weekday game. In addition, one lucky fan in attendance will WIN a $50 gas card courtesy of Fas Fuel. It is also WXRX Dollar Days where fans can take advantage of $2 beers, soft drinks, hot dogs and companion tickets.
Friday, December 2 vs. Chicago Wolves: Face-off is set for 7 p.m. The IceHogs welcome the Chicago Wolves (8-9-1-1) for the fourth Illinois Lottery Cup matchup of the season. It's also a Blues Flame Friday pregame party, presented by District Bar & Grill. Doors to the Blue Flame Lounge on the main concourse open at 5:15 p.m. for the pregame festivities. Fans 21-and-older are invited to enjoy free appetizers at the Blue Flame Lounge, a happy hour special, and live music from Val and Char Browne.
Saturday, December 3 vs. Grand Rapids: Puck drop is at 7 p.m. The Rockford IceHogs face the Grand Rapids Griffins (11-6-0-0) in the third of 10 season meetings. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. The popular Teddy Bear Toss promotion returns to the BMO Harris Bank Center, where ans are encouraged to bring new or gently-used teddy bears and/or stuffed animals to the game, and throw them onto the ice after the IceHogs score their first goal of the game. The teddy bears and stuffed animals will then be donated to local hospitals and kids' charities.
Bud Light Monthly Monday Hog Talk At Vintage 501:
Bud Light Hog Talk’s third segment at Vintage 501 will be Dec. 5 from 6-7 p.m. The third show will feature Cameron Schilling, Pierre-Cedric Labrie and head coach Ted Dent. Vintage 501 is located in downtown Rockford at 501 E. State St. Fans can join broadcaster Bob Mills and Kevin Peters from 6-7 p.m. on the first Monday of every month throughout the season as the duo chats with IceHogs players, coaches and front office members. For those unable to attend the show in-person, Monday’s show will be streaming live on WXRX.com. “Bud Light Hog Talk” will also be available on www.icehogs.com following the live show. Fans can access the podcast through the “Audio Highlights” link in the “Multimedia” menu.
