Rockford, Ill. – The Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League are proud to announce that the team will host their annual Teddy Bear Toss Night on Saturday, Nov. 30.

The IceHogs will welcome the Chicago Wolves for an Illinois Lottery Cup matchup on Nov. 30 at 7 p.m., and all fans are encouraged to bring a new stuffed animal to the BMO Harris Bank Center to throw onto the ice after the Hogs score their first goal of the game.

All the new furry friends collected during the teddy bear toss will be donated to local hospitals and charities by IceHogs players, coaches and front office staff.

Last season, the IceHogs set a franchise record collecting more than 5,500 teddy bears. Over the course of the last seven seasons, the IceHogs have gathered over 13,500 stuffed animals during the annual event and donated them to local children during the holiday season.

The first 2,500 adults (21 and over) to the game will receive an IceHogs scarf compliments of Bud Light. For tickets to the game, or any upcoming IceHogs contest, call (815) 968-5222, visit IceHogs.com or stop by the BMO Harris Bank Center Box Office or any Ticketmaster outlet.

Fans that are unable to attend the Teddy Bear toss game can still help brighten the holidays for local children. For four days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday) leading up to the game, Buffalo Wild Wings (6275 East State St, Rockford, IL.) will collect stuffed animals and blankets from those missing the game. The blankets will be donated to local fire departments and the stuffed animals added to the teddy bear toss collection.

Each day the first 30 people to bring a stuffed animal or blanket to Buffalo Wild Wings will be rewarded with Buffalo Wild Wings coupons or apparel.

Next Home Game: Wednesday, Nov. 27 vs. Milwaukee Admirals. Game time is 7 p.m. The game will be a WXRX Dollar Day. Fans can purchase hot dogs, soda, beer and companion tickets for $1. Fans can also purchase IceHogs jerseys for half off at Oink Outfitters.
