ROCKFORD, Ill. -- The Rockford IceHogs seek to rebound from their first road loss of the season as they travel to Milwaukee to take on the division-rival Admirals at UWM Panther Arena.

Matchup: The IceHogs and Admirals sit atop the Central division entering Friday’s game with Rockford maintaining a first-place ranking at 7-3-0-0 and Milwaukee just one spot in back of the Hogs at 5-3-0-0. The Admirals have struggled at home this season and now host the IceHogs with just one win in three games at UWM Panther Arena.
Forwards David Kampf and Vinnie Hinostroza, and blueliner Erik Gustafsson pace the Hogs in scoring against Milwaukee with four points apiece in the three-game series. Kampf has potted a team-high three goals with one assist, Hinostroza has split his point total with two goals and two helpers and Gustafsson boasts an IceHogs-best four assists against Milwaukee this year.
Between the pipes, Jeff Glass led Rockford to its lone win of the 2017-18 series on Oct. 21 at Milwaukee. The netminder stopped 28 of 30 pucks to help set the stage for the IceHogs’ 6-2 thumping of the Ads.
Milwaukee is led by Emil Pettersson, who ranks sixth in the league with 11 total points (4g, 7a) thus far this season, and Tyler Kelleher, who is ninth in the AHL in rookie scoring with seven points (5g, 2a). The duo has combined for 11 points in just three contests against Rockford this year.
