HOGS FIGHT BREAST CANCER WITH PINK IN THE RINK NIGHT
Rockford, Ill. ā Help the Rockford IceHogs fight breast cancer on Saturday at the BMO Harris Bank Center with the annual āPink in the Rink Nightā at 7 p.m. when the Hogs take on the Milwaukee Admirals. Saturdayās game will come between away games at Milwaukee on Friday and Sunday.

In an effort to raise funds for breast cancer research, the ice at the BMO will be dyed pink for the game and the IceHogs will wear special pink jerseys. Two jerseys will also be raffled off during the game. Raffle tickets will be sold by the IceHogsā Mountain Dew Ice Crew or at the U.S. Cellular Fan Zone in the concourse for $5 per ticket or five tickets for $20.
The silent auction will begin once the doors open at 6 p.m. and fans can put in their bids at tables set up on the concourse behind section 122 for each jersey. Bids will be accepted up until the end of the second period. Winning bids will be announced in the third period and winners will have the opportunity to get their jersey signed post-game and receive a pair of game worn socks.
All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Mary Kay Foundation and the American Cancer Society through the IceHogs Charitable Foundation.
The first 5,000 fans to the BMO on Saturday will also receive a set of pink, light up thunder sticks, courtesy of SwedishAmerican Health System.
