HOGS DEFENSEMAN SAWYER REASSIGNED TO ICE PILOTS
Rookie d-man played in three games
Rockford, Ill.- Rockford IceHogs General Manager of Hockey Operations Al MacIsaac announced Monday that the American Hockey League club has re-assigned defenseman J.C. Sawyer to the club’s ECHL affiliate Pensacola Ice Pilots.
Sawyer was called up to Rockford on Friday, Nov. 2 and appeared in three games with the IceHogs. The rookie blue-liner recorded a pair of penalty minutes with a plus/minus rating of -3. Sawyer attended IceHogs training camp this fall and was sent to Pensacola.

n six games with the Ice Pilots before his re-call to Rockford, Sawyer had 2g-4a-6pts.
Next Home Game: Friday, Nov. 23 vs. Quad City Flames. Game time is 7:30 p.m. Rockford’s old foes come to town for the first time this season. Rockford and Quad City renew their rivalry at the Rockford MetroCentre the day after Thanksgiving. The first 1,000 fans to the game will receive a replica IceHogs Championship ring statue from Dental Dimensions, WTVO-TV channel 17 and FOX-39. Also, fans who bring three or more non-perishable food items to donate to the Salvation Army Food Drive will receive a free $9 voucher to an upcoming IceHogs game.
