First four-game week of 10-11 slated for Week 13
Week 12 Recap
With one lone game on the Week 12 schedule, the Rockford IceHogs slipped below the .500 mark with a 2-1 loss to the Milwaukee Admirals on Sunday. After closing out a seven-game homestand, Rockford will play three of their four games during Week 13 on the road, including their first ever visit to Oklahoma City to take on the Barons to open the 2011 calendar year.

Shawn Lalonde Defenseman
Rockford rookie defenseman Shawn Lalonde tallied Rockford’s lone goal on Sunday in their 2-1 loss to the Milwaukee Admirals at the Rockford MetroCentre. Lalonde now has four goals on the season, most among all IceHogs d-men. He also has 15 overall points, fourth most on the club and second most for all Rockford blueliners.
Upcoming Games:
Tuesday, Dec. 28 at Milwaukee Admirals: Game time is 7 p.m. The IceHogs and Admirals close out a home-and-home series at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee. The game is the fourth of 10 on the season between the West Division foes and second of five in Milwaukee.
Thursday, Dec. 30 vs. Houston Aeros: The game starts at 6:35 p.m. Houston makes their first visit to the MetroCentre in 2010-11 in the third overall match up between the two clubs. Thursday is WIFR Sell Out Night. WIFR, channel-23 in Rockford has bought the remaining tickets for the game and there are no tickets available for the game.
Saturday, Jan. 1 at Oklahoma City: New Year’s hockey starts at 7:05 p.m. Two first for the IceHogs: A trip to Oklahoma City and New Year’s Day hockey. The IceHogs open the 2011 portion of their schedule at the Cox Convention Center against the Barons in the team’s first ever New Year’s Day game.
Sunday, Jan. 2 at Oklahoma City: The rematch is set for 3:05 p.m. The IceHogs and Barons meet up for the second straight night at the Cox Convention Center. The game is the second of three on the season in Oklahoma City and third of six overall between the two teams.
No Bud Light Hog Talk Tonight At Swilligan’s Pub:
There will be no Bud Light Hog Talk tonight at Swilligan’s Pub. The show resumes on Monday, Jan. 10. Swillgan’s Pub is located in downtown Rockford at 200 North Church St. Fans can join Mike Peck from 6-7 p.m. most Monday’s as he chats with IceHogs players, coaches and front office members. Stop by and take advantage of some great food and Bud Light specials. If you can’t make it, tune into 1330 AM, WNTA.

Rockford IceHogs fans can catch all of the IceHogs regular-and post-season games on the Hogs’ flagship radio station, Rockford’s Voice, WNTA-AM 1330 and 30 regular season games on ESPN Radio 1380-AM, WTJK. Fans can also watch and listen to the Hogs on the World Wide Web with AHL Live! Visit the IceHogs Web site (icehogs.com) and click on the “click here to watch the AHL Live” icon, and for just $7 you can catch all of the IceHogs action on your computer. Also, fans with Comcast Cable television in Rockford can tune in to Channel 57 for all the IceHogs hockey action at the MetroCentre this season. All Saturday home game will also be televised on My Network TV digital subchannel 17.2 along with Comcast and Charter Cable channel 16.
