Rockford, Ill. - After finishing the month of October on a four-game winning streak, the Rockford IceHogs have slipped during November, posting a 1-4-0-0 record through five games – all against divisional opponents. But tonight, the IceHogs look to get back on track as they dance with the Houston Aeros for the first time this season.

The puck drops at the BMO Harris Bank Center at 7:05 p.m. as the IceHogs don special uniforms as a part of “Los IceHogs Night.” The first 2,500 fans (21+) through the gates receive an IceHogs maraca courtesy of Corona.

For tickets to tonight’s game, or any IceHogs game, call (815) 968-5222, visit IceHogs.com or stop at any Ticketmaster outlet or the BMO Harris Bank Center Box Office.

Tonight’s game can be viewed on WIFR’s 23.2 “Weather Now”, Comcast Cable channel 436, Mediacom 101 or online through AHLlive.com. The web stream can be heard through IceHogs.com.

The IceHogs enter tonight’s contest in fourth place in the Midwest Division and find themselves on a three-game losing streak. However, in 32 all-time regular season bouts against the Aeros, the Hogs are 18-12-0-2, including a 9-6-0-1 record at home. Last season, Rockford’s Rob Flick led the charge against the Minnesota Wild’s AHL affiliate, scoring 3g-1a-4pts, while playing in just three of the four tilts. The Hogs took the season series 3-1-0-0.

Throughout the game, the Mountain Dew Crew will be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win one of the jerseys worn by the IceHogs players. Two uniforms will be raffled off after the game, four will be auctioned off on the IceHogs eBay store, while the rest are raffled off at future IceHogs games throughout the course of the season. A portion of the proceeds from the online auction will go to La Voz Latina.

Public Address Announcer Chris Toltzman’s goal and penalty calls will also be translated into Spanish by Pete Gaddis throughout the game. A local Latino band, Aires de Guamajuato, will perform before the game and during the intermissions.

Next Home Game: Wednesday, Nov. 21 vs. Peoria Rivermen. Game time is 7:05 p.m. Thanksgiving Eve is another WXRX Dollar Day as fans can kick off their holiday weekend with $1 beers, hot dogs, soft drinks and companion tickets.
