Rockford, Ill.-Chicago Blackhawks General Manager of Minor League Affiliations Mark Bernard announced on Wednesday that the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League have traded center Justin Hodgman to the Toronto Marlies for future considerations.
Hodgman, 21, has appeared in 33 games with the Toledo Walleye this season, notching 21 points (9g-12a). The rookie center ranks fifth on the team in goals and seventh in points.
Prior to turning pro, Hodgman spent four seasons in the OHL with the Erie Otters. The Brampton, Ontario native has recorded 217 points (87g-130a) in 254 career games. Hodgman has also skated in 17 games in the IHL with the Fort Wayne Comets, tallying 13 points (6g-7a).
