HOBSON RETURNS TO ROCKFORD

Winger recalled by IceHogs

Rockford, Ill.- Chicago Blackhawks General Manager of Minor League Affiliations Mark Bernard announced on Thursday that Adam Hobson was reassigned by the Blackhawks from the Toledo Walleye (ECHL) to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.

Hobson, 23, has appeared in 10 games with Rockford in 2009-10 and has scored two goals and chipped in one assist. In 40 games with Toledo, the Mission, B.C. native has notched 44 points, including 18 goals and 26 assists.

In his third season, Hobson has skated in 77 total games with Rockford. A seventh round pick (#203 overall) by the Blackhawks in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, Hobson has been recalled to the IceHogs four times this season.

Next Home Game: Friday, Feb. 19 vs. San Antonio Rampage: Game time is 7:05 p.m. Rockford opens up two straight contests against San Antonio at the MetroCentre as their four-game homestand continues. The first 2,500 fans to the game on Friday will pick up an IceHogs baseball hat courtesy of Pepsi, WXRX and 23 WIFR.
