HENDRY GETS THE CALL, RICHMOND REASSIGNED
Hendry expected to make NHL debut tonight against Dallas
Chicago, Ill.- Chicago Blackhawks General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the Blackhawks have recalled defenseman Jordan Hendry from Rockford. Defenseman Danny Richmond has been assigned to Rockford.
Hendry, 23, has played in 39 games this season for Rockford. He has three goals and four assists for seven points with 52 penalty minutes and a +5 rating. Since being signed by the Blackhawks as a free agent in 2006, the Lanigan, Saskatchewan native has not missed a single pro game. Between Rockford and Norfolk, Hendry has played in 132 games, scoring eight goals and recording 20 assists for 28 points. He has had 159 penalty minutes.
Richmond, 23, appeared in six games since Dec. 30 in his second stint with the big club. He registered two penalty minutes while averaging 9:42 in ice time per game. In 23 games with the Hogs this season, the Chicago native has had one goal and eight assists for nine points. He has 85 penalty minutes.
